By the very nature of the work undertaken by Coral Residential & Community Assessments, our primary ethos is to work closely with local authority social work and legal professionals in undertaking assessments commissioned, often under The Public Law Outline [Pre-Proceedings process] or under Care Proceedings.

At Coral Residential & Community Assessments, we recognise the importance of undertaking assessments and providing evidence in a timely manner to inform the Court and local authorities of our findings and outcomes recommendations. It is our practice to report any arising safeguarding concerns as well as provide updates on engagement and non-compliance within the assessment process to the instructing commissioning authority, to avoid undue delay in line with timescales under the ‘26 weeks rule’ of cases in care proceedings following the Family Justice Review.
