Helen Watson and Amanda Owen are two of the co-founders of Coral and continue to undertake Parenting Risk Assessments and Residential Community Assessments. We each have over 25 years experience of working as Social Workers within Children & Families, carrying out a range of Parenting Risk Assessments including for families with complex needs, non-accidental injury and domestic abuse.
Jacqui Shoultz is a co-founder of Coral and one of the leading Child and Play Therapists in the UK with over 30 years experience in her field. She oversees and supervises the assessment teams regarding emotional care and children’s Attachment patterns, alongside undertaking some direct work with children.
Our clinical team is multi-racial and includes psychologists who can undertake adult and child assessments, including forensic risk assessment, global family assessments and attachment assessments, alongside cognitive assessments, as well as adult psychiatrist.
Our assessment teams are led by a Practice Manager, who is a qualified and very experienced Social Worker and registered with Social Work England. The Residential Community assessment programme include a team of Family Support Workers who provide 24 hour support and monitoring, including waking nights, and who are trained in Safeguarding, Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid, and working with children and parents who have complex needs, including learning difficulties and neurodiverse conditions such as ASD and ADHD. The work of the Family Support Workers is overseen and managed by the Practice Manager and the Clinical Team.
