Meet the Team
All of CORAL’s Practice Managers are qualified Social Workers with a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience and registered with HCPC.
In addition to holding a social work qualification, majority of our Practice Managers are trained and accredited to undertake PAMS Assessments, trained in Signs of Safety, and trained and accredited to undertake Domestic Violence (DVIP Model) Risk Assessments. In addition, the team has practitioners who have had accredited training as Approved Social Workers. All Practice Managers have had training in court work and procedures and have considerable experience in giving evidence in court as Expert Witnesses.
Our Family Workers are experienced in working with vulnerable children and families and they work alongside Practice Managers, who are the lead professional assessor on all cases.
As well as assessing, Family Workers offer parents support, advice and teaching to develop their parenting skills, including the use of such strategies as modelling, prompting, and repetition.
Child Assessment Therapists
Within the Team, we have accredited and trained Child Therapists with a range of professional experience, who assess and provide therapeutic advice/input to children and their families or carers.
Psychologists & Psychiatrists
Within the CORAL team, we have access to a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist and a Forensic Psychiatrist, as well as to a range of Adult Therapists, including Family Therapists.
